Queer Goldfields History Tour

  • This event has passed.
Ballarat Queer History Exhibition

Let Thomas, co-host of the very popular podcast Tales from Rat City, and Alex, a local amateur historian, give you a glimpse of what life would have been like for LGBTIQA+ residents of the Goldfields area in days gone by.

Wander some of Ballarat’s best-known streets and discover some new insights into our wonderful historical town.

Can’t make it on the walk? Check out our banner display of Ballarat’s Queer History exhibited in the foyer at Ballarat Community Health, Lucas, from 7th – 13th November 2019.

This will be a sensory-friendly event with no loud music or flashing lights and wheelchair accessible (though often hilly).
Mature Themes, parental guidance recommended for those under 15
